NEW AREA - LAS COLINAS
1. Where is your new area compared to La Travesia?
It is still in the city (Tegucigalpa), but on the other side.

2. Who, if anyone, in your area have you served with before in your mission?
In the zone, I was with Elder Mataipule in Choluteca but other than him no one.

3. What are the main differences between this and La Travesia, as far as neighborhoods go?
There are a lot of rich people in Las Colinas. Everyone is rich. Everyone.

4. Do you still get fed by members? How often?
Pretty often. When we need dinner the members usually help, we usually end up doing lunches on our own.

About 80

NEW COMPANION - ELDER BARRIOS

Bolivia

3. How old is he and how long has he been on his mission?
He's 22 and he has about 15 months in the mission.

4. What do you know about his family back home?
His mom is a member and had two marriages, he is from the second. He has 7 siblings.

5. What are three things you love about him?
He is funny. He cooks pretty well. He is very generous.

WEEK 94 - Update

This week was good.

Tuesday
We contacted for a little while, it is super hard contacting in this new area, the people don't want to listen to us. We went and visit a member family. We went and visited another couple that are members. We visited Roxana, she is an investigator that we are working with.

Wednesday
It rained. A lot. We met a few more members... well, I did anyway. Pretty normal day.

Thursday
We went and visited a member and ended up taking him to do some visits with us. He knows a lot of doctrine so it is cool to talk to him. We went to visit a family we are teaching, they are kind of positive but have some doubts.

Friday
We had our district meeting. It was another very normal day.

Saturday
We visited some other members and we went to visit a member lady and read a chapter of the Book of Mormon with her. Very cool.

Sunday
We went to church, Roxana went with us. We are going to work with her for baptism.

Monday
We had zone conference, it was a good meeting. I ended up giving my last testimony since it will be my last zone conference.

Have a great week!

WEEK 90 - Update

This week was really good.

Tuesday
We had divisions with the Assistants on Tuesday. I went to their area and we had a good day. I worked with Elder Solares from Guatemala. We were able to visit a few people and there was a lady that they had never taught before but we were able to visit with her and teach her a little bit. Great day.

Wednesday
We had a normal day. We are working well and finding new people.

Thursday
We had divisions again with some Elders in our zone. Elder Lee and Elder Maldonado. I was with Elder Lee and we all worked in our area. It was a good day, we were able to contact a little bit with not a whole lot of success but always good to talk to the people. We went and did some baptism interviews for some Elders in our zone.

Friday
We went to visit a few families in our area that go to another ward. We had a family home evening with the stake president and his family. They are really good people.

Saturday
We did a few visits with the stake president, President Pineda. He is a great man and we were able to visit a few families.

Sunday
We went to church. We took the sacrament to a family again. It was a good normal day.

I love being here in Honduras teaching this wonderful gospel. I am so happy that I have been able to help people here and grow. I know this Church is true and I know that Christ is our Savior. He loves us!

Have a great week everyone!
