WEEK 48 - Update

Tuesday
Our power was out all Monday night and didn't come back on Tuesday. It was hot. For lunch we ate shrimp, which was awesome. The bishop came over to fix our power and we climbed up on the roof. We finally got it fixed. So great to have power again. We taught Norma, who is our convert's sister. Great lesson.

Wednesday
Wednesday we met a less active family. They all have health problems so we gave the daughter a blessing. Good humble people. We went and talked to Carmen, our convert, she is doing great. It rained super super hard.

Thursday
Thursday we ate 3 different lunches. We were just about to explode. We also went to a members house to do a Family Home Evening. They are a very cool family.

Friday
Friday we had a zone meeting. We went and ate lunch at a family's house in the zone leaders area because they are trying to get money to get married and baptized. They made hamburgers, super good. We went to the church to help clean and then played soccer for a little while.

Saturday
Three of our baptisms that were going to be for this Saturday fell through because their parents decided they didn't want them to go to church. Really tough experience.

Sunday
We had stake conference with an area seventy, Elder Duarte. He gave a really good talk. Porfirio, David's dad, went to the conference. And then we went and taught him in the evening.
